GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

The authors are requested to submit an original research paper in 5000-7000 words (excluding figures, tables and references) using one of the following formats: Portable Document Format (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), and Rich Text Format (.rtf). Use Times New Roman 12-point font, Line Spacing 1.5 and 1-inch (2.5 cm) margin all around.

The text of the research paper must be in ONE document including the following:

  1. Title: as short as possible, with no abbreviations or acronyms.
  2. Abstract: approximately 100 words, maximum 150.
  3. Main text
  4. Figures, Graphs, Tables: All figures, graphs, tables should be of high quality, legible and numbered consecutively
  5. Keywords: list of 5-10 words
  6. References: in Harvard style

Please make sure that authors' names are not included in the document/file.

Title Page (With Author Details) should be uploaded as a separate submission item. It should contain the article title, authors' name (arranged in the correct order for publication) and complete affiliations and the address for manuscript correspondence (including e-mail address and telephone and fax numbers).

References and Citation:

You should cite publications in the text: (Adams, 2006) using the first named author's name or (Adams and Brown, 2006) citing both names of two, or (Adams et al., 2006), when there are three or more authors. At the end of the paper a reference list in alphabetical order should be supplied.

Full reference should include all authors' names and initials, date of publication, title of article, title of publication (italics), volume and issue number (of a journal), publisher and form (books, conference proceedings) and page numbers.

A sample format for references is included below:

For Journal : Capizzi, M.T. and Ferguson, R. (2005), "Loyalty trends for the twenty-first century", Journal of Consumer Marketing, Vol. 22 No. 2, pp. 72-80.

Important code of ethics

  1. If a paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register to attend the conference.
  2. At the time of submission, submitted papers must not have been previously presented or scheduled for presentation at any other conference.
  3. Submitted papers must not have been published or accepted for publication.
  4. Authorship and credit should be shared in correct proportion to the various parties’ contributions. Whether published or not, ideas or concepts derived from others should be acknowledged, as should advice and assistance received. Authors should also guard against plagiarizing the work of others.
